Focusing on transportation and land development projects, Scheffer Consultants Ltd was formed in 1976. Owner Marinus Scheffer had extensive background in transportation engineering and the Edmonton company thrived and grew. In 1999, Scheffer Consultants Ltd. combined with an established municipal planning company created by John Andrew. Scheffer Andrew Ltd. was now in a position to offer clients a full range of civil engineering and planning services.

With corporate growth potential in Southern Alberta, the company began operating in Medicine Hat in 1979. Expanding further into the northern region of the province, Scheffer Andrew Ltd. opened its Cold Lake office in 2006.  In 2007, the company added an office in Calgary when it purchased Torus Engineering Consultants Ltd.

Presently, having grown to a staff of almost 100, Scheffer Andrew Ltd. continues to strive for excellence and professionalism in serving its clients in Western Canada.
